We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Planner for our client near Laurens, SC.  This is an immediate, direct hire opportunity. 

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our manufacturing operations run efficiently by aligning production schedules with customer demand, inventory levels, and available resources. You’ll work closely with supply chain, purchasing, and operations to keep everything running smoothly and on time.

Salary: $75,000 - $105,000 per year (based on experience)

What You’ll Do:

• Take ownership of production planning by creating clear, realistic schedules that keep manufacturing operations moving efficiently.
• Use SAP extensively to monitor capacity, materials, and progress and help identify potential challenges before they impact delivery.
• Work hand-in-hand with purchasing and inventory teams to ensure materials are available when and where they’re needed.
• Keep a close eye on production flow, adjusting plans quickly when priorities shift or unexpected issues arise.
• Partner with production, warehouse, and quality teams to maintain alignment and resolve daily operational issues.
• Track and analyze performance data to find new ways to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Contribute ideas and solutions that support continuous improvement across the planning and production process.

What You Bring to the Table

• 3 to 5+ years experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment
• Proven proficiency in SAP required
• Solid understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and inventory management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) 
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced envirnment
