We are currently seeking an experienced Buyer to join our client's team near Laurens, SC. This is an immediate, direct hire opportunity.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving efficient, cost-effective purchasing that supports our client's manufacturing operations. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure materials, goods, and services are sourced strategically and delivered on time.
If you’re analytical, detail-oriented, and have a strong command of SAP, this position offers the chance to make a measurable impact in a fast-paced and quality-focused environment.
Salary: $60,000 - $105,000 per year (based on experience)

What You’ll Do:

Oversee purchasing activities for materials and services, ensuring the best mix of price, quality, and delivery timelines.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive performance, resolve challenges, and foster collaboration.

Review and process purchase orders accurately, managing all associated documentation through SAP.

Monitor inventory levels to maintain product availability while avoiding overstock.

Partner with internal departments to align purchasing priorities with production and business goals.

Support continuous improvement efforts by analyzing purchasing trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Evaluate supplier performance and product quality, ensuring compliance with company standards and specifications.

Use SAP reporting tools to track performance metrics, support audits, and provide insights to leadership.
What You Bring to the Table
- Minimum 3 years experience working with SAP in a supply chain and manufacturing environment
- Proven proficiency in SAP required including a deep understanding of SAP reporting and analytics capabilities
- Previous SAP implementation experience a plus
- 3+ years expereience as a Buyer or in a related procurement role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced envirnment
- Excellent communication skills with a strong attention to detail
