CAD Designer
Location: Greenville, SC
Work Arrangement: On-site
Employment Type: Contract with potential for permanent hire
Compensation: $60,000 to $80,000 annual equivalent, based on experience
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced CAD Designer to join an engineering team in Greenville, SC. This is a hands-on drafting role for someone who enjoys working closely with engineers and turning sketches, markups, and design concepts into accurate, detailed drawings.
This is a great opportunity for a CAD professional who takes pride in producing quality work, pays close attention to details, and enjoys being part of a collaborative engineering environment. The position is expected to begin as a contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
What You'll Do

Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawings

Convert engineering sketches and markups into detailed drawings

Update layouts, dimensions, and drawing details

Make drawing revisions based on engineer feedback

Maintain organized drawing files and revision records

Coordinate drawing changes with engineers and other team members

Review your work for accuracy, dimensions, and consistency

Produce drawings efficiently while meeting project needs and deadlines

Support engineers with day-to-day CAD and drafting needs
What We're Looking For

Strong AutoCAD drafting experience

Experience creating and revising technical drawings

Ability to work from sketches, redlines, and engineer markups

Strong understanding of dimensions, layouts, and drawing accuracy

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to organize and maintain drawing files and revisions

Comfortable working directly with engineers and receiving feedback

Ability to manage multiple drawing assignments and priorities

Willingness to work on-site in Greenville, SC
Nice to Have

Revit experience
-
Experience working in an engineering, architectural, construction, or similar technical environment

Experience supporting engineers or engineering project teams
