You will help take installation projects from initial site assessment through planning, installation, testing, and project closeout. This is not a desk-only position. You will spend significant time traveling to customer sites, working with contractors, evaluating site conditions, coordinating installations, and making sure projects stay on schedule.
What You'll Do

- Take measurements, photographs, and document existing site conditions
- Identify potential installation challenges involving utilities, drainage, traffic flow, excavation, concrete, electrical work, and other site conditions
- Develop installation plans and coordinate project schedules
- Work directly with customers, internal project teams, vendors, and installation contractors
- Coordinate concrete, excavation, electrical, and other contractors as needed
- Obtain and review contractor quotes and proposals
- Help coordinate purchase orders and installation-related expenses
- Monitor installation progress and provide project status updates
- Make sure contractors understand project requirements, specifications, and customer site rules
- Identify scheduling, quality, safety, or installation concerns and communicate them to project leadership
- Review technical drawings, site layouts, and installation requirements
- Provide hands-on technical support during system installations
- Assist with troubleshooting installation issues and coordinate with engineering and technical support teams when needed
- Provide customers with basic training on system operation and maintenance
- Maintain project documentation, site survey reports, schedules, punch lists, and installation completion reports
- Coordinate project closeout and confirm installations are ready for commissioning
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in field installation, deployment coordination, construction coordination, project management, field service, or a related technical environment
- Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, or field service providers
- Experience managing multiple projects, installations, or customer locations
- Comfortable working around construction activities such as excavation, concrete work, electrical installation, utilities, or equipment installation
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, site plans, layouts, and installation specifications
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and make decisions in the field
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic project tracking tools
Helpful Experience
Experience in any of the following areas would be a plus:
- Field service or field installation
- Construction project coordination
- Equipment or technology deployment
- Electrical or low-voltage installation
- Concrete or excavation projects
- Fleet, transportation, automotive, or tire-related environments
- Contractor and vendor management
- Site surveys and site readiness assessments
- Technical customer training
Travel Requirements
This position requires approximately 60% - 80% travel. Projects will be located throughout the United States and Canada. Candidates should be comfortable traveling regularly and spending significant time at customer locations.
When not traveling, the position will involve project planning, scheduling, documentation, contractor coordination, and other deployment-related activities in an office in Greenville, SC.
If you enjoy being in the field, coordinating projects, working with customers and contractors, and seeing an installation through from planning to completion, we would like to hear from you.
