Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold) is hiring dedicated and dependable individuals for Quality Inspector positions in Laurens, SC.

Pay Rate: $18/hr, $2.50 shift premium for second and third shift.

Hours:  First Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, M-F)

            Second Shift (3:00 pm - 11: pm, M-F)

            Third Shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am, M-F)

Responsibilities: 

Evaluate product dimensionally and visually to assure that product meets customer requirements.

Maintain lot identity and appropriate paperwork. 

Pull random samples and perform visual and dimensional audits.

Sort and inspect non-conforming units. 

Perform verifications of incoming materials (laser blanks, metal for assembly, plastic components). 

Ability to work in a team environment.  

Read blueprints. 

Requirements:

Inspection experience using a microscope. 

Experience operating small equipment. 

Ability and desire to learn and perform metallization application processes and operations. 

High School graduate or GED equivalent 

Basic math and communication skills  

Must have excellent Hand/Eye Coordination 

Must have correctable 20/20 vision 

Standing, sitting, walking, bending and some lifting
