A well-established and growing manufacturer is seeking a hands-on HR Business Partner to serve as the strategic and operational HR lead for their facility. This role offers a seat at the leadership table and the opportunity to shape the employee experience from recruiting to retention and everything in between.

 

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year (based on experience)

They're looking for a skilled and passionate Human Resources Business Partner to lead all aspects of HR strategy and operations while fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace.

What You’ll Own

This role blends strategy with execution. You’ll be the trusted HR advisor for site leadership while keeping day-to-day HR operations running smoothly.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner closely with plant leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals

  • Guide managers through employee relations, coaching, and performance matters

  • Drive engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives

  • Oversee benefits administration and workers’ compensation processes

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations

  • Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, and documentation

  • Review compensation data, support job evaluations, and recommend adjustments

  • Anticipate hiring needs and support recruiting strategy

  • Manage and monitor the HR department budget

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees, leaders, and external partners

We’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within manufacturing or industrial settings

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices

  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP is a plus) and Microsoft Office

  • Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills

  • Highly organized with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
