Peak Workforce Solutions is hiring dedicated individuals for our Machine Operator Apprentice position in Hemingway, SC.

Machine Operator Apprentice

The end goal for this position is to fill the role of a backup machine operator in a Paper Tube Plant, and eventual lead machine operator when a position becomes available. An extended training period will be required and advancement will be based strictly on job performance. During the training period, you must demonstrate the potential to run a machine and lead a crew. This includes the ability to multitask and interact well with a variety of people. An emphasis on quality control and safety is required.

To be a functional crew leader, knowledge of all aspects of the line will be required. Training will be provided on all aspects of the machine.

No prior experience is required. Leadership experience is a plus. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and be on your feet most of the day. Must be able to learn from your mistakes to avoid repeating them.

Pay rate $11-$16 hourly
