Compensation:

This position offers competitive pay:

1st shift starting at $16.57 per hour

2nd Shift starting at $17.57 per hour

3rd shift starting at $18.07 per hour

Job Description:

Material Handler

• Review and adhere to safety policies and procedures including proper lifting, driving, handling and storage procedures.
• Adhering to all work instructions and inventory control responsibilities as needed.
• Must be able to maintain forklifts by performing maintenance check list responsibilities.
• Charge lifts and fuel gas operated trucks by following work instructions.
• Read orders and/or schedules to ensure proper material is being moved and/or delivered
• Use computer to find and/or transact material in the system
• Ensure identifying tags or labels are on all material being moved
• Ensure material is being store in proper storage locations
• Ensure all material handling operations are done in a timely manner to ensure no loss of time and maximum efficiency at workstations.
• Remove all packaging before presenting to designated locations
• Always maintain excellent housekeeping

 The Ideal Candidate Should:

• Be highly productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Have 6 Months experience with both Stand Up and Sit Down Forklifts
• Have a great work ethic. Quality is a must.
• Be respectful and a strong team player.
• Be able to work independently, as needed.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 25-45lbs.(Heavy Lifting Positions - Up to 75lbs)
• Be able to work overtime as required.
