Peak Workforce Solutions (Newbold) is seeking a Kiln Engineer for our client in Hendersonville, NC.  This is an immediate, direct hire opportunity. Relocation will not be paid. 

The Kiln Engineer will be working in multiple departments with various kilns joining a team in a technical environment consisting of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and SAP. The successful candidate will be involved in the fine tuning of day-to-day processes, writing work instructions, troubleshooting kilns and processes, training new employees, and programming equipment.

Salary: $75K - $95K

Qualifications:

•    Experience with Kilns, Ovens, or firing processes in a manufacturing environment.
•    Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Engineering and experience in a manufacturing or lab environment.
•    Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles as well as working knowledge of statistical analysis and SPC. 
•    SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD experience is preferred. SolidCAM experience is a plus.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Qualifications:

•    Six Sigma training and experience.
•    Understanding of Kaizen.
•    Familiarity working with RCCA.
